Requirements:

• 3+ years in debt recovery within the Spanish market, with a strong understanding of local practices, regulations, and customer behavior.
• In-depth knowledge of debt collection laws, compliance requirements, and risk management.
• Proven track record in optimizing recovery workflows and managing Non-Performing Loan (NPL) portfolios.
• Strong negotiation skills and an established network with DCAs, bailiffs, and other stakeholders.
• Hands-on approach to problem-solving and task execution, actively engaging in recovery processes when needed.
• Strong analytical skills to assess recovery data, identify trends, and develop effective strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Establishing and driving the debt recovery process in Spain, adapting strategies to local conditions, regulations, and cultural factors.
• Managing the default portfolio, ensuring efficient tracking, collection, and recovery.
• Leading and implementing strategies to optimize recovery rates and align them with company objectives.
• Building and maintaining relationships with external partners such as legal advisors, courts, bailiffs, and collection agencies.
• Staying updated on market trends and legal requirements in debt recovery, sharing insights with stakeholders.
• Monitoring and analyzing portfolio performance, using key metrics to refine and enhance recovery efforts.
