Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field required; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 8-10 years of business experience required.
• 5-8 years of project management experience leading cross-functional projects.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of PMBOK concepts is required.
• Advanced ability to navigate political issues within the company.
• High competency in project management techniques and tools, including stakeholder management and risk assessment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all phases of major departmental projects ensuring goals are met within time and budget.
• Lead cross-functional project teams of significant complexity.
• Proactively identify and resolve conflict/integration issues.
• Estimate and plan resource usage accurately.
• Coach and mentor less experienced project managers.
• Regularly review project status and modify schedules as necessary.
• Facilitate team meetings and prepare status documents.
• Instruct team members in project management techniques.
• Resolve roadblocks to project progress and influence senior management.
