Requirements:

• 5-8 years experience in software engineering, particularly in distributed systems.
• Extensive experience in RESTful API design and development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent related experience.
• Familiarity with Java best practices for writing high-quality code.
• Experience with observability tools like DataDog for critical production applications.
• Experience managing databases and integrating data pipelines.
• Positive attitude, quick learner, and effective in small teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with team members and the Product team to enhance product offerings.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable Java services hosted in AWS.
• Design scalable software for distributed systems.
• Investigate and remedy production incidents with automation.
• Work with Docker/Kubernetes for container technology.
• Mentor engineers and share technical expertise.
• Manage workflow using Github, Jira, and deployment systems.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and testing code for production.
