Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Substantial experience in an in-house legal department, law firm, consulting firm, or comparable experience.
  • Demonstrable project management skills and experience in legal optimisation initiatives.
  • Strong technical proficiency, especially in tools like Slack, Notion, Zapier, and BI tools like Sigma.
  • Experience in programming (e.g., Python, JavaScript) and data analysis tools (e.g., SQL).
  • Good understanding of the legal technology market, particularly ALSPs, CLM, ELM tools.
  • Experience designing and implementing complex legal tech solutions.
  • Strong data analysis skills with unstructured datasets.
  • Experience in legal process engineering and improvement.
  • Ability to apply systems thinking and information architecture principles.
Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop legal technology solutions and automation tools.
  • Create and maintain document automation systems.
  • Implement and optimize legal workflow processes.
  • Collaborate with relevant teams to identify opportunities for technological improvement.
  • Develop and maintain legal knowledge management systems.
  • Provide technical support for legal software applications.
  • End-to-end ownership of strategic optimisation projects.
  • Identify and propose solutions to Legal’s operational pain points.
  • Drive improvements between cross-functional teams and Legal.
  • Manage external counsel and handle higher risk engagements.
