Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of sales, business development, or customer service experience in a healthcare environment, preferably in mental health.
  • Compassionate communicator with a passion for patient care.
  • Familiarity with insurance verifications, medical benefits, and billing processes.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including email and phone etiquette.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA policies and practices.
  • Proficiency in computer technologies, including G-suite, Excel, and EMR/EHR Systems.
  • Ability to work Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm Pacific Time, and participate in a weekend on-call rotation.
Responsibilities:
  • Respond to inbound patient inquiries through phone, text, and email, providing information about services offered.
  • Become a trusted advisor for patients seeking care, managing the patient intake process with empathy.
  • Assist in verifying insurance eligibility and benefits, while managing digital patient files.
  • Coordinate patient care and work collaboratively with the healthcare team.
  • Maintain a compassionate and professional demeanor during all patient communications.
