Requirements:

• Experience in a leadership role, including hiring, mentoring, coaching, and performance management.
• 3+ years experience in software engineering including coding, testing, maintenance, architecture, design, security, and operations.
• 3+ years experience in building or supporting software-as-a-service (SaaS).
• Hands-on software engineering background with web/mobile applications at scale.
• Experience collaborating with product managers, designers, and stakeholders.
• Ability to use data and metrics for performance management and continuous improvement.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for project and team updates.
• Expertise in Agile software development processes across the SDLC.
• Experience fostering a culture of innovation and implementing quality assurance processes.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of individual contributors to produce strong outcomes for the business.
• Manage the full career development cycle for individual contributors through regular 1:1s, coaching, and feedback.
• Work closely with product managers and designers to understand scope and delivery requirements.
• Use data and metrics to measure team performance and focus on continuous improvement.
• Provide regular updates on project status, team performance, and potential issues.
• Foster a culture of innovation by encouraging exploration of new technologies.
• Ensure quality assurance processes and best practices are implemented.
• Promote knowledge sharing and maintain up-to-date project documentation.
• Incorporate customer feedback into the development process.
