Requirements:

• Mandatory: 3-4 years of Oracle Database administration in cloud or enterprise IT.
• Knowledge of IT service management and cloud computing services.
• Experience with ticket/service desk tools like ServiceNow or Jira.
• Value Add: Experience in ITIL or ISO 20000 service frameworks.
• Formal qualification in Computer Science/IT is useful but not mandatory.
• Technical Skills: Experience with critical production systems in the cloud.
• Support for multi-tenant Oracle databases and administering Oracle databases (min. 12c).
• Experience in performance tuning, using tools like AWR/ASH.
• Familiarity with backup/restore methods (RMAN, data pump) and disaster recovery.
• Experience with database cloning, upgrades, and working in strict ticketing systems.
• Basic understanding of cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP) is required.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily database operations for Oracle Database within the IFS Cloud Suite.
• Act as a DBA resource and escalation point for database service issues.
• Assist internal/external teams during problem management investigations.
• Implement backup solutions for IFS Application suite.
• Perform performance tuning and manage cloud database environments.
• Implement and test disaster recovery solutions.
• Monitor database availability and manage issues in production.
• Automate routine tasks with the Automation teams.
• Provide training sessions for internal teams.
