Technical Account Manager (FinOps)

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience consulting on AWS, GCP, and/or Azure services/solutions.
• Experience developing, documenting, and communicating financial analysis and optimization recommendations.
• Understanding of spend/resource reservations across various clouds.
• Knowledge of the benefits and limitations of tagging/labeling for cloud cost management.
• Proficient in analyzing complex datasets in Excel using advanced functions.
• Bonus: FinOps Certification, AWS/GCP/Azure Certification, experience with BI dashboards, SQL authoring, understanding of GAAP accounting.

Responsibilities:

• Ongoing customer segment onboarding and implementation initiatives, including addressing ad hoc requests.
• Form and maintain strong strategic relationships across key customer personas.
• Communicate value and monitor performance metrics/KPIs including periodic executive business reviews.
• Be the Customer Success ambassador for product, engineering, and go-to-market teams.
• Introduce new products/features and champion business outcomes with customers.
• Solve complex customer/vendor issues and proactively prevent service trends.
• Build and monitor customer adoption metrics.
• Support retention and expansion for your assigned customer segment.
• Develop operational and design effectiveness of internal customer controls.
• Lead joint success planning workshops and support internal initiatives.
• Create and maintain standards for data analysis and presentations.
