• Portfolio showcasing design systems created or significantly contributed to.
• Experience in leading, mentoring, and managing a small team of designers.
• Deep expertise with Figma and design system management tools.
• Strategic mindset focused on design scalability and operational efficiency.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, bridging design, product, and engineering.
• Strong organizational skills and project management abilities, capable of prioritizing initiatives.
• Understanding of systems thinking, user-centered design principles, and accessibility standards.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, articulating design decisions to stakeholders.
• Familiarity with data-informed decision-making and metrics for design operations effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

• Own and evolve Watson, the design system, ensuring scalability, accessibility, and flexibility.
• Lead and manage a team of three product designers, providing guidance and support.
• Oversee project management to keep the design system on track, assigning tasks and deadlines.
• Drive operational excellence, optimizing design team workflows for consistent, high-quality work.
• Facilitate adoption of the design system through resources and training, advocating design quality.
