Requirements:
  • 10+ years of direct sales experience selling complex, multi-stakeholder solutions, ideally in the benefits space.
  • 5+ years of direct sales experience specific to Public Sector.
  • Resilience to withstand long lead times and government practices.
  • Crisp written and verbal communicator with the ability to articulate complex ideas.
  • Self-starter who can work independently and coordinate tasks within tight timelines.
  • Ability to establish strong team relationships and collaborate in a matrix organization.
  • Demonstrated track record of exceptional performance against goals.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
Responsibilities:
  • Build and nurture relationships with large public sector plans, becoming a trusted partner and advisor.
  • Develop and execute a targeted sales strategy to grow Lantern’s presence within the government space.
  • Create a pipeline of target SLED clients and work with the Marketing team to move opportunities to close.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage complex sales processes.
  • Conduct market research to identify key opportunities ensuring alignment with public sector needs.
  • Lead presentations to educate stakeholders on Lantern’s advantages.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Foster a collaborative culture that encourages innovation and problem-solving.
