Java Developer - OMS

Requirements:

• 5+ years of industry experience as a software engineer, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience with retail commerce data infrastructure (e-commerce preferably composable commerce).
• Hands-on experience working with one or more global cloud service providers such as AWS, GCP, or Azure (Preferably AWS).
• Deep understanding of Computer Science fundamentals and Software Engineering principles.
• Fluent in both Spanish and English (written and verbal).
• Experience with event-driven systems, including queuing and AWS Lambda.
• Proficient in Java; experience with React is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and developing microservices-based applications.
• Experience working with retail data platforms (i.e., POS or OMS) and real-time data management using event streams is preferred.
• Experience working with headless/microservices architectures, including digital commerce technologies such as Fluent commerce, Adyen, Avalarra, commercetools and Elastic Path Commerce Cloud is an asset.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for Order Management System (OMS) and Point of Sale (POS) systems, ensuring smooth operation and minimal downtime.
• Collaborate with software engineering teams to develop and maintain APIs and middleware for seamless system data exchange.
• Track and document support requests and incidents using a ticketing system to ensure timely resolution and communication with stakeholders.
• Analyze incident trends to identify recurring issues and recommend proactive measures to prevent future occurrences.
• Work closely with software developers to validate changes, conduct regression testing, and ensure new functionalities meet business requirements.
• Provide feedback on system improvements and collaborate on the development of new solutions to enhance retail operations.
