Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of API-based integrations, data mapping, and middleware solutions.
  • 5+ years of technical expertise with hands-on experience in data transfer and integration protocols (API, FTP, ETL, data warehouse, BI tool integrations, SSO/SAML).
  • Proficiency in building and consulting on automation and middleware solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a technical subject matter expert, providing deep expertise in Degreed’s architecture, integrations, and data capabilities.
  • Act as a resource in pre- and post-sale engagements, assisting with the scoping of complex projects.
  • Act as a key liaison on projects that involve complex product commitments, facilitating communication between product and client teams.
  • Analyse client requirements and business processes to design and implement tailored technical solutions that leverage the Degreed platform’s capabilities.
  • Lead the scoping, solution design, costing, and documentation of complex client asks.
  • Own and deliver high-value and high-quality solutions for key enterprise clients.
  • Develop custom solutions via middleware and automation to support recurring service offerings and internal initiatives.
  • Design and oversee integrations with third-party systems (LMS, HRIS, and others) to enhance client’s interoperability with Degreed.
  • Manage third-party vendors in product commitments, ensuring technical feasibility and alignment with business objectives.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration, data flow, and technical challenges, collaborating with support and engineering teams.
  • Apply commercial acumen to scope and cost professional services engagements, ensuring profitability and scalability of the department.
  • Develop recurring service models and oversee their implementation to drive continuous value for clients.
  • Contribute to the refinement of Degreed’s Professional Services strategy by identifying opportunities for automation, standardization, and process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation on integration architectures, data flows, and platform configurations.
  • Establish and share best practices with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of technical solutions.
