Requirements:

Bachelor’s/master’s degree in finance/accounting.
Professional accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA/CPA/ACA/CMA).
Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel (reporting, data analysis, etc.).
Fluent in spoken and written English; knowledge of other languages (French, German, Italian, Dutch) is an advantage.
Experienced in working in an international environment and in the SSC/BSC.
Ability to solve problems and propose process improvements.
Strong customer service skills.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Disciplined and well-organized to meet deadlines.
Willingness to travel internationally and accommodate additional hours as necessary.

Responsibilities:

Handling General Ledger processes.
Supporting all aspects of GL monthly/quarterly/annual close activities.
Leveraging strong relationships with other finance and non-finance teams to maintain and update shared processes, tools, and reporting.
Ensuring adherence to the company's policies and procedures, audit requirements, and local regulations.
Supporting the strengthening of financial processes and controls.
Supporting local, regional, and global projects as required.
Being an active advocate of the finance function.
Maintaining focus on continuous process improvement.
