Sales Engineering Specialist - Networking

Requirements:

• 5+ years as a network engineer, network specialist, site-reliability engineer, or related technical role focused on networking technologies.
• Deep understanding of VPC design and implementation in AWS, GCP, and Azure, including experience with security groups, network ACLs, and routing.
• Extensive hands-on expertise with modern cloud, on-premise, and hybrid-cloud network architectures and connectivity mechanisms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in troubleshooting network and connectivity issues.
• Passion for networking, related technologies, and hardware, and the data domain.
• Curiosity to learn and assimilate technical information quickly and enthusiasm to share and teach others.

Responsibilities:

• Create and validate enterprise networking architecture design in conjunction with customers and field sales engineering teams.
• Deploy and troubleshoot supported networking methodologies including Reverse Proxy, VPN, PrivateLink, Proxy Agent, etc.
• Work closely with Fivetran’s Product and SRE teams to ensure networking capabilities are secure and well implemented.
• Contribute to the deployment and management of the Hybrid Deployment offering with expertise in Docker, Podman, Kubernetes.
• Stay current on networking, security, and secure data management technologies and trends.
