Requirements:

• 7+ years of user research experience, preferably in a lead role with large product areas.
• Experience scaling UXR for a variety of stakeholders to conduct effective research.
• Experience researching developer products and tools.
• Working knowledge of general research principles and UX research principles.
• Ability to lead teams while guiding designers and PMs through research.
• Strong communication skills to explain complex concepts and influence strategy.
• Experience with both moderated and unmoderated testing.
• Collaborative attitude, humility, and a learner's mindset.

Responsibilities:

• Leading the UX Research function for our Developer Product Group, working in close partnership with the Design and Product teams.
• Coordinate and conduct mixed-methods research, including interviews, usability testing, surveys, and fieldwork.
• Provide guidance to stakeholders to turn vague business needs into actionable research questions.
• Innovate ways to help the team easily gather their own feedback from developers.
• Craft research reports to communicate findings and make design/product recommendations.
