Requirements:

• 8+ years of Test Engineering experience.
• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related discipline.
• Experience collaborating with teams in different countries.
• Experience in fast-paced agile development environments.
• Hands-on experience with open-source automation frameworks and tools.
• Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
• Expertise in identifying performance issues in various architectures.
• Experience with Java platforms, API management, and mobile applications.
• Experience in defining OKRs and KPIs.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the Test Engineering efforts and manage a team of test engineers in a fast-paced development environment.
• Collaborate with Development, Product Managers, Cloud Engineering, and team leaders in multiple locations.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the Costa Rican Test Engineering team.
• Design and automate API and UI testing for web-based products using Python with Robot Frameworks.
• Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
• Investigate and implement infrastructure improvements for better performance and customer experience.
• Lead test efforts for Civic Platform products and initiatives impacting cross-functional organizations.
• Promote a harmonious environment considering cultural differences and establish measurement practices.
