Requirements
- Licensure in Colorado and/or Massachusetts as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
- Experience working with diverse behavioral health issues including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and substance misuse.
- Successful completion of PMHNP-BC exam(s) preferred but new graduates are welcome.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the integrated care team model at OMH, including collaboration with physicians and other mental health professionals.
- Customize the care for each patient, choosing the frequency and duration of visits.
- Provide medication management, individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, and psychological testing as needed.
- Create a personal schedule and focus entirely on patient care without additional on-call responsibilities.
