Requirements
- Licensure in Colorado as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
- Experience working with various behavioral health issues including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, personality disorders, and substance misuse.
- Successful completion of PMHNP-BC exam preferred.
- Open to new graduates.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the integrated care team model at OMH.
- Customize the care for each individual patient.
- Have the autonomy to determine the frequency and duration of patient visits.
- Primary clinical work includes medication management and individual psychotherapy.
- Perform family therapy, group therapy, and psychological testing as needed.
- Create custom schedules for work-life balance.
- Focus solely on patient care without additional on-call responsibilities.
- Complete clinical care documentation after treatment sessions.
