Requirements
- Licensure in Colorado as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
- Experience working with individuals with various behavioral health issues, including mood disorders and substance misuse.
- Welcoming new graduates and encouraging completion of PMHNP-BC exam.
Responsibilities
- The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) will participate in the integrated care team model at OMH.
- Clinicians have the autonomy to customize care for each patient, determining the frequency and duration of appointments.
- Common clinical work includes medication management, individual psychotherapy, family therapy, group therapy, and psychological testing.
- Promotes a coordinated, collaborative approach to patient care with a focus on work-life balance and no extra on-call responsibilities.
