Requirements
- Licensure in Colorado and/or Massachusetts as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
- Experience working with various behavioral health issues, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, personality disorders, and substance misuse.
- Candidates under supervision of consulting psychiatrists are welcomed.
- Preferred: Successful completion of PMHNP-BC exam(s).
Responsibilities
- Participate in the integrated care team model at OMH.
- Provide outpatient behavioral health services to patients.
- Customize care for individual patients based on their needs.
- Perform medication management, individual psychotherapy, family therapy, group therapy, and psychological testing as needed.
- Create custom schedules and maintain work/life balance.
- Focus on patient care without additional on-call responsibilities.
