Requirements
- Licensure in Colorado as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
- Experience working with varying behavioral health issues, including mood disorders and substance misuse.
- Under the supervision of consulting psychiatrist(s).
- New graduates are welcome.
- Preferred: Successful completion of PMHNP-BC exam(s).
Responsibilities
- Participate in the integrated care team model at OMH.
- Customize the care for each individual patient with autonomy in scheduling and session length.
- Manage medications and conduct individual psychotherapy.
- Perform family therapy, group therapy, and psychological testing as appropriate.
- Focus on patient care without extra on-call responsibilities.
