Requirements
- Licensure in Colorado and/or Massachusetts as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
- Experience working with patients with behavioral health issues such as mood disorders, anxiety disorders, etc.
- New graduates are welcomed and preferred completion of PMHNP-BC exam(s).
Responsibilities
- Participate in the integrated care team model at OMH, which includes physicians and various mental health professionals.
- Customize care for each patient, determining the frequency and length of visits.
- Focus on medication management and individual psychotherapy, with the possibility of family therapy, group therapy, and psychological testing.
