Requirements
- Licensure in Colorado as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
- Experience working with various behavioral health issues such as mood disorders, anxiety disorders, personality disorders, and substance misuse.
- Welcoming new graduates, with the preferred successful completion of PMHNP-BC exams.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the integrated care team model, working within outpatient behavioral health practices.
- Customize care for each patient, determining visit frequency and duration.
- Perform medication management, individual psychotherapy, family therapy, group therapy, and psychological testing as necessary.
