Requirements
- Must hold an active Special Education teaching certification in New York State.
- Must have a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university.
- Must possess a laptop or desktop computer, webcam, headset, and reliable internet.
- Prior online teaching experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Support the instructional program with live video, audio and chat synchronous instruction.
- Conduct formative assessments and implement appropriate supplemental instruction.
- Provide prompt, high-quality, personalized feedback on assignments.
- Proctor online testing to ensure test integrity.
- Collaborate with team members to develop alternate enrichment activities.
- Gain detailed knowledge of the assigned curriculum through professional development.
- Communicate regularly with students using chat features.
- Create a welcoming online learning experience.
