Requirements
- Licensure in Colorado and/or Massachusetts as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
- Experience working with behavioral health issues such as mood disorders, anxiety disorders, personality disorders, and substance misuse is preferred.
- New graduates are welcome to apply.
- Successful completion of PMHNP-BC exam(s) is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the integrated care team model at OMH.
- Customize care for patients, determining frequency and length of visits.
- Focus on medication management, individual psychotherapy, family therapy, group therapy, and psychological testing as necessary.
- Work without additional on-call responsibilities and ensure patient care is prioritized.
- Handle clinical care and documentation while a support team manages billing and other administrative tasks.
