Requirements:

• MS/PhD degree in computer science, electrical engineering, imaging science, color science, biology, cognitive science or a related field.
• Strong background in color science and imaging science.
• Proficient in programming languages such as MATLAB, Python, C#, and C++.
• Strong background in user experience, machine learning, computer vision, VR & AR.
• Knowledgeable in data analysis and signal processing.
• Strong communication skills for working with cross-functional teams.
• Understanding of image processing, HDR imaging, image segmentation, depth estimation, human color perception, AR/VR rendering, computer vision and machine learning.

Responsibilities:

• Develop perceptual features for immersive mixed reality (MR) and augmented reality (AR) experiences by modeling human perception.
• Establish camera and display image quality metrics for MR/AR benchmarking.
• Create a platform for objective and subjective psychophysical studies to evaluate virtual object rendering in MR/AR applications.
• Research and develop computer vision and machine learning algorithms for light estimation and virtual object rendering.
