Senior Developer - Kubernetes

Requirements:

• 3+ years of industry experience building mission-critical software applications in a collaborative environment.
• Experience with Go, Python, or other modern programming languages; C++ knowledge is a plus.
• 2+ years of experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with cloud infrastructures.
• Front-end development experience is a plus.
• DevOps skills utilizing open-source tools like Kibana, Prometheus, and Grafana are desirable.
• Strong understanding of agile software development best practices, including CI/CD, testing, monitoring, alerting, and documentation.
• Experience with Kubernetes upgrades, Terraform, Ansible, Shell/Python scripting, and Gitlab pipelines.
• Desirable experience includes Kubernetes security, on-premise Kubernetes, networking, vSphere, Packer, Flux or ArgoCD, and Kubernetes installation with Kubespray.

Responsibilities:

• Build high-quality software using cutting-edge technologies.
• Own the work, add tests and metrics, and participate in code reviews.
• Help define scalable architectures and encourage best practices.
• Provide technical leadership to junior engineers.
• Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for various systems.
• Create and maintain Kubernetes clusters.
• Develop terraform-based infrastructure.
• Support SRE and developer teams, and follow security practices.
• Maintain documentation and update runbooks.
• Handle incident detection, response, remediation, and conduct post-incident reviews.
