Senior Developer - Kubernetes

3+ years of industry experience building mission-critical software applications in a collaborative environment. Experience with Go, Python, or other modern programming languages; C++ knowledge is a plus. 2+ years of experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes. Experience with cloud infrastructures. Front-end development experience is a plus. DevOps skills utilizing open-source tools like Kibana, Prometheus, and Grafana are desirable. Strong understanding of agile software development best practices, including CI/CD, testing, monitoring, alerting, and documentation. Experience with Kubernetes upgrades, Terraform, Ansible, Shell/Python scripting, and Gitlab pipelines. Desirable experience includes Kubernetes security, on-premise Kubernetes, networking, vSphere, Packer, Flux or ArgoCD, and Kubernetes installation with Kubespray.

Build high-quality software using cutting-edge technologies. Own the work, add tests and metrics, and participate in code reviews. Help define scalable architectures and encourage best practices. Provide technical leadership to junior engineers. Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for various systems. Create and maintain Kubernetes clusters. Develop terraform-based infrastructure. Support SRE and developer teams, and follow security practices. Maintain documentation and update runbooks. Handle incident detection, response, remediation, and conduct post-incident reviews.
