Requirements:

Active PMHNP/CRNP/APN license in the state of employment.
Master’s Degree from an accredited nursing program.
A minimum of 1 year experience working independently as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner.
A minimum of 1 year experience working with children, adolescents, or young adults in any nursing capacity.
Board Certification by ANCC or AANP.
PMHNP-BC certification.
DEA license to prescribe.

Responsibilities:

Efficiently provide psychiatric evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and medication management for children, adolescents, and young adults.
Create appropriate treatment plans and provide patient education and consultation.
Comply with minimum clinical time expectations post-onboarding.
Order, administer, and analyze diagnostic tests.
Participate in weekly clinical meetings.
Collaborate with administrative teams on refills and prior authorizations.
Maintain thorough patient records and conduct ongoing assessments of patient progress.
