Requirements:

• Active PMHNP/CRNP/APN license in the state of employment.
• Master’s Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• A minimum of 1 year experience working independently as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner.
• A minimum of 1 year experience working with children, adolescents, or young adults in any nursing capacity.
• Board Certification by ANCC or AANP.
• PMHNP-BC certification.
• DEA license to prescribe.
• State Prescriptive Authority License.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently provide psychiatric evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and medication management for children, adolescents, and young adults.
• Create appropriate treatment plans and provide patient education and consultation.
• Comply with minimum clinical time expectations post-onboarding.
• Order, administer, and analyze diagnostic tests.
• Participate in weekly clinical meetings.
• Collaborate with administrative teams on refills and prior authorizations.
• Maintain thorough patient records and conduct ongoing assessments of patient progress.
