Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business administration.
  • Minimum of 12 years in finance or accounting roles, preferably in a startup environment.
  • Deep financial planning and modeling experience, with the ability to analyze data and create financial forecasts.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles and financial statements.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry.
  • Strong analytical mindset and expert financial modeling skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work at both strategic and tactical levels.
  • Flexibility in juggling long-term projects and ad hoc requests in a fast-paced startup environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company’s growth and profitability.
  • Lead all financial planning and analysis, including forecasting, budgeting, P&L, and cash flow management.
  • Support financial and operational reviews, highlighting risks & opportunities to senior and board level stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with executives and functional leaders to create budgets and track key performance indicators.
  • Oversee all aspects of accounting operations including quarterly reconciliation, payroll, taxes, and compliance.
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to various stakeholders.
  • Improve existing financial and accounting systems and streamline work processes.
  • Work closely with departments to ensure leaders have accurate information for operational decisions.
  • Manage and streamline customer billing and track customer deals.
