Solutions Architect - Bay Area

Requirements:

• BA/BS in computer science, engineering, mathematics or related fields, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a solutions architect, data architect, database administrator, or data engineer.
• 3 years of technical consulting experience.
• Experience in a lead role for analytics projects for large enterprises.
• Experience implementing and operating Snowflake-centric solutions.
• Understanding of complete data analytics stack from ETL to BI tools.
• Familiarity with common BI and ETL solutions.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, Java, and/or Spark.
• Extensive knowledge of large-scale database technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Netezza, Exadata, etc.).
• Proficiency in implementing data security measures and access controls within Snowflake.

Responsibilities:

• Directly engage with customers individually or as part of a technical delivery team.
• Oversee and advise on the implementation of the customer's Snowflake platform.
• Demonstrate technical leadership through personally developed code and architecture.
• Act as a trusted advisor to customer executive leadership.
• Extract business requirements and translate them into architectural recommendations.
• Develop guidance and future state roadmaps.
• Leverage best practices to reduce risk for customer implementations.
• Decompose future goals into actionable plans.
• Collaborate with Snowflake GTM and product teams.
