- Serve as the main point of contact for assigned clients by email, phone, and Zoom.
- Lead recurring monthly or quarterly calls to review financials, cash flow, AR/AP, and project profitability.
- Lead client kickoff and onboarding, secure account and platform access, and guide clients through onboarding checklists.
- Assess cleanup needs, scope catch-up work, and oversee design-platform setup and integration with QuickBooks Online.
- Perform and oversee books cleanup, including reconciliations, transaction corrections, adjusting journal entries, and prior-period sales tax and AR/AP corrections.
- Teach clients best practices for Studio Designer, Houzz Pro, Programa, and QuickBooks Online.
- Manage, train, and coach bookkeepers; review financial statements and ensure client meeting preparation and deadlines.
- Support clients with Gusto payroll matters and coordinate with outside CPAs, payroll providers, software representatives, and the sales tax accountant.
- Track billable work and invoices, prepare proposals for additional services, and monitor client health.
