- Serve as the primary HR resource for employee concerns, workplace conflicts, disciplinary matters, and performance issues.
- Guide managers through employee-related situations and ensure documentation and follow-through.
- Manage employee investigations, corrective actions, and terminations; coordinate with employment counsel when appropriate.
- Oversee day-to-day administration of HR policies, programs, processes, employee records, employment changes, onboarding, offboarding, and leave administration.
- Oversee payroll, benefits, and employee engagement functions, providing direction to the Coordinators responsible for each area.
- Ensure payroll is processed accurately and on time, and oversee benefits administration and employee engagement programs.
- Ensure HR practices, policies, and employee documentation comply with applicable employment requirements.
- Manage and direct assigned HR Coordinators, establish expectations and accountability, and ensure HR priorities are carried through to resolution.
- Execute departmental initiatives established by the CHRO and provide visibility into significant employee issues, trends, and matters requiring executive decisions.
