- Review or prepare client financial statements, schedules, reports, journal entries, fixed asset schedules, payroll, and other general accounting work.
- Consult with clients on accounting, tax, and business matters, including payables, receivables, payroll, cash management, debt management, and regulatory filings.
- Review staff work and provide feedback to support accuracy and professional development.
- Research and document technical accounting and tax issues, and coordinate preparation of tax returns and filings.
- Analyze financial data, identify trends, and prepare reports to support client decision-making.
- Develop and maintain internal systems, processes, and quality controls to meet compliance deadlines and maintain reporting integrity.
- Manage projects such as budgeting, financial projections, profitability analysis, cash flow modeling, internal control reviews, and tax planning.
- Oversee assigned client activities and coordinate staff to ensure accurate and timely accounting deliverables.
- Monitor client engagement deadlines, including closings, payroll cycles, tax filings, and special projects.
