Principal Software Engineer

Shape technical strategy across contracts and programs, translating business and policy goals into development direction.
Drive architectural decisions and support team members, partners, and clients through decision-making and execution.
Build and maintain complex, scalable solutions across application development, infrastructure, and data engineering.
Own components or services from development through deployment, monitoring, and production support.
Deploy and manage systems in cloud environments using CI/CD and infrastructure as code.
Work with APIs, databases, and data pipelines to support application integration and data flow.
Advise on Medicaid policy analysis tools and identify, build, and sustain process automation opportunities.
Investigate State Medicaid Enterprise System modernization challenges with a cross-functional scrum team, including interviewing states and vendors.
Recommend system improvements and other interventions to the client.
