About LeanTaaS
LeanTaaS empowers hospitals to deliver better care, faster. We pioneer AI-powered software that optimizes hospital and clinic operations, transforming patient access and reducing wait times. Our iQueue platform, used by over 190 health systems and 1,200+ hospitals, integrates with existing EHRs to craft optimized schedules. This leads to 30-50 more cases per operating room annually and adds $20,000 per infusion chair each year. We leverage advanced data science, predictive analytics, and machine learning to improve patient and provider satisfaction while reducing healthcare costs.
How We Work
You will find a flexibility-first remote work policy here, allowing you to choose your work location across nearly all U.S. states. We support a culture of inclusivity and collaboration, using tools like Slack for discussions and informal connections. Our team building extends to remote activities, with a budget for teams to decide their own engaging events. You will feel connected and supported, even when working remotely. For those who prefer, offices are available in Santa Clara, CA, and Charlotte, NC.
Engineering at LeanTaaS
We tackle complex healthcare operational challenges using advanced data science, generative AI, and machine learning. Our core stack relies on AWS Aurora, MySQL/InnoDB internals, and Datadog Observability, managing over 400 active database schemas. You will work on scaling multi-tenant database systems that process hundreds of millions of operational healthcare records daily. Engineers at LeanTaaS focus on query optimization, index strategy, and robust architecture to ensure consistent system performance and reliability. We continuously explore and deploy GenAI-powered tooling to accelerate query profiling and simplify fleet manageability across multi-tenant clusters.
