Upstream USA is a nonprofit organization pioneering equitable access to contraceptive care across the United States. Founded in 2014, we empower individuals to make informed decisions about their reproductive health. Our flagship initiative, FreeBC, delivers comprehensive care through a seamless, bilingual digital platform. We operate in 37 states and Washington, D.C., and collaborate with over 150 healthcare partners. Our goal is to reach 5 million patients of reproductive age by 2030, ensuring birth control is accessible, patient-centered, and free. We are supported by venture philanthropy, maintaining a nonpartisan stance and independence from government or pharmaceutical funding.
