Cloudstack Engineer - Public Cloud Scalability Team

Requirements:

• Understanding of the Apache CloudStack opensource project.
• Extensive experience with Java development in a cloud hosting context.
• Experience with Python for automation and testing.
• Knowledge of Linux operating systems, preferably Ubuntu.
• Experience with Shell/Bash is advantageous.
• Excellent knowledge of virtualization technologies (KVM, QEMU, libvirt).
• Knowledge and experience with Networking and Storage use and automation.
• Good planning, logical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Experience with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins is a plus.
• Experience with configuration management systems like Chef is a plus.
• Experience with Git, Grafana, Prometheus, Kubernetes, and Docker is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining close collaboration with the Apache CloudStack community.
• Developing and supporting the Apache CloudStack project.
• Maintaining Leaseweb’s CloudStack deployments operationally and through software improvements.
• Working with the team to resolve customer issues by solving bugs and introducing features.
• Participation in the on-duty rotation schedule.
