Requirements:

• Several years or more experience in building, scaling and maintaining web services built in Java.
• Experience with secure distributed systems utilizing message queues, such as Kafka.
• Experience with cloud architecture (AWS), containerized application development (Docker), and infrastructure as code (Terraform).
• Experience in mentoring and coaching developers in your teams.
• Ability to effectively share technical details in both written and in-person formats.

Responsibilities:

• Providing mentorship and coaching for the developers on your teams.
• Writing code, participating in reviews, and supporting the team throughout the entire lifecycle.
• Applying deep understanding of tooling and best practices for testability and maintainability.
• Delivering projects that are monitored, traceable, and debuggable.
• Driving technical decisions for your teams and participating in architectural forums.
• Championing use cases that ensure customer safety and security.
