Job Details

Have expertise in one or more relevant areas, such as medicine and biomedical science, computational biology, neuroscience, molecular and cellular biology, biotechnology and bioinformatics, genetics and genomics, ecology and evolutionary biology, or biostatistics and biological data science.
Have a strong scientific or applied research background demonstrated through publications, thesis work, computational projects, industry research, or equivalent accomplishments.
Have practical Python experience for scientific computing, data analysis, modeling, or simulation.
Be familiar with tools such as NumPy, pandas, SciPy, Matplotlib, scikit-learn, Jupyter, or relevant domain-specific libraries.
A PhD, MD, or master’s degree with substantial research experience in a relevant life sciences discipline is preferred.
Be available for approximately 15 hours per week; schedule is flexible.
Be ready to begin immediately and, if selected, start the first task within 24–48 hours of completing onboarding.
Complete screening questions, an approximately 30-minute AI interview, and a hiring manager review.

Create technically rigorous scientific problems within an area of expertise.
Solve research problems within biology and related fields.
Develop reproducible Python-based analyses, models, and simulations.
Build Python-based data-processing workflows.
Review scientific solutions and code for correctness, clarity, and completeness.
Use scientific expertise to evaluate and improve advanced AI systems.
