Requirements
- Have hands-on experience building AI developer tooling used by others, such as agent skills or rules, MCP servers, custom agents, or AI steps in CI.
- Bring senior-level experience shipping production software.
- Have solid web development experience with JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Use coding agents daily on production work and understand where they fail and how to catch it.
- Apply sound architecture judgment.
- Be able to influence how engineers work through coaching, curiosity, and practical enablement.
- Have conversational-level English language skills.
- Production experience with Vue is helpful.
- Python backend, iOS (Swift), or Android (Kotlin) experience is helpful.
- Experience leading a change in engineering practice across more than one team is helpful.
Responsibilities
- Design how a ticket moves from idea to merged code, with agents handling most implementation.
- Build coding and review agents, MCP integrations, CI hooks, and a shared skills library.
- Set up review gates and evaluations to ensure agent output meets quality and security standards.
- Own the web side of the product in Vue and represent the team in the Web Developers Guild.
- Coach engineers and share practices with other teams to support adoption of AI-driven workflows.
