Job Details

Experience: 0-3 years' experience working in a Security Operations Center (SOC) environment

Have 0–3 years of experience working in a Security Operations Center (SOC) environment.
Have a basic understanding of query languages.
Have general knowledge of programming language operations.
Have system networking experience or education.
Have working knowledge or experience with Office 365.
Demonstrate problem-solving skills.
Demonstrate verbal and written communication skills.
Be able to work both in a team environment and independently.
Be a U.S. citizen and reside within the United States or its Territories.
Preferred: hold a B.S. in Cybersecurity or equivalent.
Preferred: have experience with Sumo Logic, Defender, Google Chronicle, or Azure Sentinel.
Preferred: hold an industry security certification such as Security+, CySA+, or GSEC.

Monitor client environments proactively to detect, analyze, track, and mitigate external threats using a multi-tenant SIEM and other managed security service tools.
Analyze, investigate, document, and report on security alerts and potential incidents in customer environments.
Process security investigation cases thoroughly and promptly.
Coordinate urgent response, containment, and remediation for security events.
Create investigative notes for security alerts and incidents.
Escalate security investigations when warranted and follow SOPs and escalation communication matrices.
Complete and communicate shift-change documentation.
Provide constructive security consultation to customers during external communications.
Provide feedback on security process improvements and customer satisfaction.
