Requirements
- Hold a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or have an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
- Have at least 5 years of experience in cloud-based or web application software development, or a closely related technical field.
- Demonstrate expert-level knowledge of C# and .NET Core and experience designing, developing, and testing enterprise-grade applications.
- Have experience building and maintaining containerized microservices and deploying applications through CI/CD pipelines to Kubernetes using Helm.
- Be proficient with Docker containers for development, testing, and deployment.
- Have experience with SQL databases such as SQL Server or MySQL and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, CosmosDB, or Cassandra.
- Be familiar with Microsoft Azure and/or AWS cloud technologies and services.
- Understand REST API contract design and software architecture principles.
- Be able to translate complex requirements into practical technical solutions and deliver results independently.
- Demonstrate analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Have experience guiding and mentoring junior engineers and contributing to team development.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, modify, document, and test software components.
- Translate business and technical requirements into software designs, architecture specifications, interface descriptions, and implementation plans.
- Build and maintain web applications and containerized microservices using C# and .NET Core.
- Develop and validate unit and integration tests using Test-Driven Development principles.
- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for deploying containerized applications to Kubernetes using Helm.
- Improve software development processes, efficiency, quality, and maintainability.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers through training, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing.
- Diagnose and resolve build, deployment, and software integration issues.
- Develop proof-of-concept projects to evaluate technologies, architectures, and development approaches.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, data privacy requirements, HIPAA standards, and applicable legal and regulatory obligations.
