Requirements
- Hold an advanced degree in data science, machine learning, computer science, or a related discipline.
- Have 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Lead, manage, and mentor cross-functional engineering teams across office, remote, and customer environments.
- Define, scope, plan, and drive execution plans for complex, production-level technical solutions.
- Translate complex technical topics clearly and professionally to internal engineering teams and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrate broad proficiency in programming languages common to machine learning, including excellence in Python and at least one systems programming language.
- Design and deliver algorithms, data structures, and production analytics, and use design patterns in cloud environments.
- Build, train, evaluate, and/or optimize deployment of ML models.
- Be proficient with modern software engineering tools and processes.
- Hold an active Secret or higher US security clearance and be a US citizen.
Responsibilities
- Initiate the design, build, and delivery of technical systems, from data shaping and analytics to end-user delivery.
- Serve as a core technical contributor and customer-facing technical leader.
- Turn difficult customer and engineering problems into working systems.
- Guide systems through execution and delivery.
- Work in the field and incorporate direct customer input into what the team builds.
