Requirements
- Have 3+ years of professional experience in production environments.
- Have strong knowledge of Apache Kafka, Kafka Streams, kSQL, and Kafka Connect.
- Have strong knowledge of Java and Spring Boot.
- Have experience with MongoDB and GraphQL.
- Have basic knowledge of Apache Iceberg.
- Have knowledge of Python.
- Have experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
- Understand TLS, SASL, and ACLs.
- Have experience working in Scrum or Kanban environments.
- Have familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop solutions based on Apache Kafka, Kafka Streams, and kSQL.
- Develop microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
- Develop and maintain Kafka Connect integrations and connectors.
- Build GraphQL APIs and work with MongoDB.
- Define and manage data schemas using Avro, Protobuf, and JSON Schema.
- Automate processes using CI/CD and DevOps practices.
- Implement monitoring and observability with Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
- Optimize and maintain the Kafka environment.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering, DevOps, and Analytics teams in an Agile environment.
