Requirements
- Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering.
- Have hands-on experience with HighByte Intelligence Hub; this is required.
- Have experience deploying and managing HiveMQ or similar MQTT platforms; this is required.
- Have strong knowledge of the MQTT protocol and Industrial IoT architecture.
- Have experience building automated deployments and CI/CD pipelines.
- Have strong knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell or Bash, and Python.
- Have experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Know Git, version control processes, and release management.
- Have knowledge of monitoring, logging, observability, networking, TLS, secrets management, and secure service-to-service communication.
- Be able to diagnose and resolve complex technical problems.
- Nice to have: experience in Industrial IoT, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, life sciences, or OT environments.
- Nice to have: knowledge of OPC UA, industrial communication protocols, Azure, AWS, hybrid environments, Helm, edge computing, IT/OT network segmentation, Disaster Recovery, or security scanning and governance integrations for CI/CD pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain automated deployment processes for HighByte Intelligence Hub and HiveMQ.
- Automate environment provisioning, configuration, updates, validation, and rollback processes.
- Build and develop CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools.
- Create Infrastructure as Code solutions and deployment automation using Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, Bash, and Python.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Configure and maintain HighByte integrations between industrial/OT systems and enterprise or cloud platforms.
- Deploy, administer, and monitor HiveMQ MQTT broker environments.
- Support MQTT communications and secure connectivity to brokers.
- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and system health checks.
- Troubleshoot deployment, connectivity, performance, certificate, and communications issues.
