Requirements
- Have at least 2 years of experience in lead or management QA positions.
- Have at least 5 years of experience in QA positions.
- Have experience working closely with production, tech, art, and design departments.
- Communicate clearly with different types of stakeholders.
- Understand Microsoft first-party certification requirements.
- Understand Sony first-party certification requirements.
- Understand Nintendo first-party certification requirements.
- Desirable: have supported at least one title from pre-production through post-launch.
- Desirable: have familiarity with the PowerWash Simulator franchise.
- Desirable: have experience with live service video games.
- Desirable: have experience with QA automation.
- Desirable: have experience with programming or scripting languages.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate execution of the daily QA strategy across six platforms and multiple branches with aligned submission and release cycles.
- Work with discipline leads to identify how QA can improve their pipelines.
- Work with the LiveOps team to ensure content drops are tested efficiently.
- Provide updates on product health, critical bugs, delivery risks, and risks to the live user experience.
- Supervise the project’s QA team and provide training where required.
- Identify opportunities for QA to flag and mitigate risk as early as possible.
- Support the QA Manager in maintaining quality assurance processes and standards.
