Requirements
- Hold a BA/BS degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or a health-related field, or have equivalent experience.
- Have 4–8 years of SAS programming experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Demonstrate good SAS programming skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrate knowledge of regulatory guidelines, including electronic submission standards.
- Have strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Be able to work under timeline pressure and manage multiple tasks while coordinating others.
Responsibilities
- Conduct statistical programming of clinical data using SAS.
- Ensure programs, outputs, and documentation comply with ICH guidelines and company SOPs.
- Generate analysis datasets according to CDISC standards and the SAP.
- Implement analysis methods according to the SAP and produce summary tables, graphs, and data listings using SAS.
- Conduct ad hoc analyses.
- Validate programs and results produced by other programming colleagues.
- Participate in TLF shell preparation and review, and assist the statistician with SAP preparation.
- Run CDISC validation programs, such as OpenCDISC reports, to check ADaM dataset compliance.
- Review study CDISC validation output and ensure validation reports are free of errors and warnings with proper program documentation.
