Requirements
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in Korean and English.
- Have specialization in investment banking or market commentary.
- Demonstrate acute attention to detail, spelling, and grammar.
- Maintain professionalism, especially under tight deadlines.
- Meet one of these criteria: a degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies, or an equivalent degree with significant translation training, from a recognized higher education institution; two years of translation experience and a college degree; five years of translation experience without a college degree; or a translation competence certificate awarded by an appropriate government body.
- Complete the Translation and MTPE tests.
Responsibilities
- Translate investment banking market commentary from Korean to English and English to Korean.
- Handle client documents in the investment banking sector.
- Create and finalize translation deliverables before they are sent to the client.
