Have 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Bring expert-level Python development skills.
Understand software architecture, distributed systems, and API design.
Have experience with AI-assisted development tools and engineering productivity practices, including coding agents and harnesses.
Have experience building and operating cloud-native applications.
Have experience with REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
Have strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
Have experience with automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
Be proficient with Git and Azure DevOps.
Understand software security principles and secure development practices.
Have demonstrated ability to lead complex technical initiatives from concept through production.
Preferred: experience with FastAPI, Flask, or similar Python frameworks; Azure cloud services, Kubernetes, and containerized workloads; highly transactional systems; freight, pricing, booking, order management, logistics, transportation, or marketplace platforms; and data-intensive or real-time decisioning platforms.

Design, develop, and support scalable Python-based services, APIs, and event-driven solutions for digital freight pricing, booking, and carrier experiences.
Build platforms and experimentation frameworks for AI-driven and human-assisted pricing and costing decisions.
Partner with data science teams to deploy, validate, and optimize machine learning solutions.
Develop real-time and near real-time systems that improve platform performance, data quality, observability, and operational excellence.
Lead technical design discussions, translate business challenges into scalable solutions, and influence architecture decisions.
Implement testing, security, monitoring, automation, and continuous delivery practices.
Mentor engineers and share technical expertise to improve software development practices.
Collaborate with Product, Architecture, Revenue Management, Operations, and Engineering partners.
Contribute to AI-assisted engineering capabilities, including coding harnesses, validation guardrails, and development tools.
