Requirements
- Have 5+ years in B2B business development and deep relationships in a target industry.
- Have 5+ years in senior sales leadership, with a track record of winning in the industry or selling into it.
- Bring experience in waste management and environmental services, real estate, home services and construction, or hospitality.
- Be comfortable building and managing relationships with owners and C-suite leaders.
- Have experience in high-growth environments, using data and technology to drive results.
- Bring a strategic, hands-on approach to building and executing a plan.
- Be energized by networking and industry events.
- Have a bachelor’s degree in business, management, communication, or a related field.
- Have strong written and spoken communication skills and be tech-savvy and quick to adopt new tools.
Responsibilities
- Own new business for the assigned vertical, from first conversation through signed agreement, and build the pipeline.
- Design the go-to-market approach, including the ideal client profile, offer, pricing conversation, and partnerships.
- Land strategic partnerships and national accounts, then deepen them.
- Represent the company at conferences, trade associations, client visits, and industry events.
- Work with Marketing and Customer Experience to align the offer with delivery and use market feedback to shape the offer.
- Help set the strategic direction of the division as new verticals take hold.
